Clay flue liners offer a variety of benefits including resistance to rust, corrosion and creosote build up as well as low heat conduction minimizing the risk of burn damage.
We suggest that your flue liners extend at least 6" above the chimney cap.

Flue Set: This is a non-water soluble cement and should be used outdoors. This is the best choice for flue liners.
Air set: This is a water-soluble cement and should be used indoors only.
